Joel’s Place is a faith based youth center in Fairbanks, that houses the only indoor skate/bmx park in Alaska. Our mission is to provide creative, adventuresome, adrenaline-seeking youth with a good, positive outlet for their energy.

Our youth center was opened in 1999 by Wellspring Revival Ministries in response to the need for a reliable, accessible and comfortable place for youth to gather.

Joel’s Place tends to draw a mixed group of young people. Some youth represent the ”alternative” crowd of young artists, musicians, and their friends. Many are skaters or bmx riders. The target age of Joel’s Place is 10-20 year olds. There are so many changes during these years in a young person’s life, and such a need for positive relationships. We encourage Joel’s Place “kids” to finish school, find employment, and have a positive impact in their community.

Joel’s Place is located in the Aurora Subdivision at 1890 Marika Rd. We are open Monday through Friday 2-9 pm and Saturday 2-11 pm.
